The LinkedIn profile checklist recruiters actually use
Headline, About, experience, skills and Featured: how to make your profile match your resume.

Recruiters across the region check LinkedIn before calling you. If your profile and resume disagree on dates or titles, it raises doubts.
The checklist
- Photo: recent professional headshot, square crop.
- Headline: role, specialty and value. "Data Analyst | Banking operations to analytics | SQL, Python, Tableau".
- About: three short paragraphs in the first person: what you do, proof, what you're looking for.
- Experience: same titles and dates as your resume, with two or three results each.
- Skills: your top skills from job ads you target.
- Featured: your web resume, portfolio or a project.
- Licences and certifications with issuers and dates.
Open to work, quietly
If you're employed, set "Open to work" for recruiters only.
Chapterwise's LinkedIn share kit creates copy-ready text for every section, sized to LinkedIn's limits, from the same facts as your resume.
